Miss Kenedie Raye Mobley was born on November 14th, a whole week late! Brian and Amber didn't know if baby Mobley was a boy or girl but they were both overjoyed to have a precious baby girl. They had liked the name Peyton for a girl all along, but the name Kenedie was an option as well. When Miss Kenedie made her debut, Mom and Dad didn't see a Peyton, but a Kenedie. That's how baby Kenedie came about. I had to take a few shots of the sweet baby girl and I hope I get the opportunity soon to take have a real photo session with sweet baby Kenedie and her wonderful parents.

Our little man turned six months old February 11th! Time has flown by. It seems like yesterday that I was pregnant. Jonah has brought more joy to our lives than we could have ever imagined. His eyes melt my heart and his smile is so sweet and innocent. He's an amazing little boy and although I cherish each moment, I look forward to the future and what it holds too. This journey of motherhood has just began and I love it more each day. Jonah has started doing a lot of new things and it's so exciting. He's very verbal and is always cooing, screaming, or finding new sounds to make. He finally found his feet and it's so cute watching him touch and hold his feet. I'm just waiting for him to put his foot in his mouth. His motor skills are a lot more refined now. He reaches for us and touches our faces (and pulls my hair). He has only rolled from his belly to his back and I'm not sure if he'll ever roll from his back. He prefers just about anything over being on his belly and I'm wondering if he'll ever crawl. I think his eyes are turning from baby blue to green although sometimes they look gray. I still have more pictures to take for his "six month pictures" but below are a few of what we've done so far.
This past weekend I made a "secret" trip to TN to see my mom and my good friend Christy and her new baby girl, Taylure. Christy has two boys and she finally got her gorgeous little girl and she couldn't be happier. Taylure is the spitting image of her daddy, who was busy working and missed our last minute "shoot." Here are a few of my favorite shots from the day.

We went to Hornett's Nest Park last Saturday and man, it was an AMAZING day!!! It felt like spring and was so refreshing to be outside breathing fresh air....well as fresh as possible given we live in Charlotte. We took some pictures (of course) with my new camera. I am still learning, but I think they turned out pretty good. Isaac actually took some really good ones too! Enjoy and I hope you were able to enjoy the amazing weather we had last weekend.
