So, I've been really struggling lately with writing. It has been a never ending case of writer's block for quite a while now. However, I am never out of words when it comes to Jonah.... except when I'm speechless of course. I never knew what it meant when mother's said their hearts beat outside of their bodies until I became one myself. I won't get all emotional on you, but I love this little person more than I thought was possible... and I would go to the ends of the Earth to make sure he always knows that.
I've been meaning to post these for quite a while now, but just like painters' houses usually need painted, my personal photos go ignored much more than they should. These were taken in Belmont, NC on a sunny Sunday evening.
What else is there to say really? I don't understand why time seems to continue to pick up speed. Does it just keep getting faster the older you get or does it slow down again at some point? I am praying that it slows down because it really goes way too fast....
Aiden is already 9 months old. It doesn't seem that long ago that I was walking up to George and Jodi's door to do Aiden's newborn pictures. He's grown so much, developed the sweetest personality, and it obviously absolutely gorgeous! Those eyes and eyelashes are to.die.for. I seriously love him!
George & Jodi - Thank you both so much for continuing to choose me... little ol' me. I always look forward to hanging out with you guys and hope we have plenty more good times in the future.
We've been spending a lot of time at Latta Equestrian Center in Huntersville. Since we moved here almost 5 years ago it's been a favorite spot for us. Latta Plantation is a huge park, complete with the Equestrian center, Raptor Center, Nature Center, numerous canoe drops, miles and miles of trails, etc etc. Basically, it's our kind of place. Isaac and I both have a passion for horses that is only understood by those who have the same passion. We've been volunteering at the Equestrian Center to get some hands on experience because we hope to get a horse of our own in the not too distant future. :)
Meet Rosie: I love her
And this is Major
Meet Traveler, he's the Alpha in the entire herd and he's only 4. He's a giant and he's one of my favorites.
Meet baby Cullen and his good lookin Mommy and Daddy! We met in Stanley, NC for their family session last Saturday morning. The light was a dream and I've decided that morning light is definitely my favorite, it's just hard to convince others that 6:30 am is a good time to take pictures! Stephanie, thank you so much for trusting me and being willing to do anything! I had so much fun with you guys and I hope I get to see you all again! I truly hope you love these as much as I do....
I got a taste of what it would be like to have 3 little ones: loads of fun, 3 times the love, every moment is filled and is never ever dull, and busyness has a whole new meaning. Jackie and her beautiful family were so much fun and I thoroughly enjoyed being around them. Each of their precious children have their own personality and it was so interesting to see just how different they were from one another.
Jackie, I hope you and your family had as much fun as I did. I hope you were thrilled with the outcome of our session and that these photos can grace the walls of your home for years.
